What are my payment options?

You’ll receive weekly payments via direct deposit, mailed check, or a prepaid card (provided free of charge).

Can I care for more than one patient simultaneously?

Our dedicated team of over 80 support staff is here to help. With an average phone wait time of just 11 seconds, we ensure quick, professional solutions to any issues you might encounter.

How does an agency caregiver differ from a CDPAP caregiver?

At Always Home Care, we can help you hire a CDPAP caregiver—click here to check your eligibility.
If you…
– are not eligible for CDPAP,
– don’t have a friend or family member available for caregiving, or
– prefer to hire through our agency,we can assist with that too.

Call us anytime at (718) 843-8430.

Who qualifies for caregiving assistance?

If you need support with daily activities like grocery shopping, household tasks, personal hygiene, or grooming, you may be eligible. A nurse from Medicaid or your health plan will visit your home to assess both your eligibility and the amount of care you qualify for each week.

Are there limitations on specific health conditions for eligibility?

No, there are no restrictions based on illness type. If you have Medicaid and require care, you may qualify.

Can I care for my parent on the days they aren’t receiving home care?

Generally, the Always Home Care program cannot be combined with regular home care services. Insurance requires patients to select one care program exclusively. Always Home Care does not add extra hours; for instance, if your parent qualifies for three days of care, they can receive those three days from either Always Home Care or another home care program, but not both.

What if the person is already in hospice care?
